We’re in Nara! We stop at Asuka Daibutsu ,the oldest Buddha statue in Japan. It is nearly 3meters tall and is around 1,400 years old.
5 PM
Miwa no Somen. We pass by Miwa and heard that this place is famous for somen. Somen is the white noodle that you eat by catching as it floats down a bamboo tube?really, that’s how I had it the last time. I wonder what Miwa no Somen tastes like.

I hope you are getting the rest in order to enjoy the rest of your trip!
Nagashi somen is the coolest experience ever!
If you think the moat at Nagoya Castle is cool, wait till you come to Matsue! You MUST take the Horikawa Boat ride around the Matsue Castle!!! When will you be in Matsue?
Take care gal.
