Yakatabune (houseboat) cruise starts around 6 o’clock in the evening.
Yukata, the Japanese costume is available. For laides, there’re a variety of colours and designs to choose. For men, sorry, there’s only one pattern, but still, it’s very nice to wear Yukata.

For customers who’d like to buy Yukata, there’re brand new ones to offer, for 4,200 yen, including a pair of Japanese slippers (Geta).

Now, let me explain how Yakatabune (houseboat) cruise goes.
It takes about two hours.

What you can enjoy during the two hours are;

01hita yakatabune cormorants
Cormorants fishing show.

02hita yakatabune ayu
Japanese style dinner, where the finest and local fish and vegitables will be served.

03hita yakatabune table

05hita yakatabune lion drum

From Fukuoka airport or city center to Hita, it’s only a little more than an hour.
From Tokyo to Fukuoka airport, it’s only 1′30”-2′00”.

Other than this, In Kyushu area (South Japan), you can enjoy Onsen, Japanese hot spring, seasonal festivals, food, nature, culture, shopping (You can get almost everything there’s in Tokyo in Fukuoka怀city center!).

This Yakatabune tour is organized by Mikuma-hotel, and other several hotels.
