Fukugawa Edo Museum - 深川江戸博物館

The other day I went to Fukugawa Edo Museum , as since the beginning , I really liked to see how “Old Tokyo” had been a long time ago. There are two important Edo Museums in Tokyo , Ryogoku Edo Hakubutsukan and the Fukugawa Edo Hakubutsukan , though Fukugawa is the tinier one. But nevertheless, I really enjoyed my time there. I didn’t know what to expect at the beginning but I surely was surprised as a whole little Edo City appeard after entering the “big room”.

the built city

They built some  houses , a miniature toori and even an lookout tower.  And they even tried to reproduce the sounds . I heard water splashing and even birds chirping.

There are is also very interesting information about the daily life, old maps, even little videos on different tasks which had to be done at that time.
