Kawagoe and the antique flea market 川越

Today was such a beautiful day, that I went to Kawagoe to see the antique flee market.

I started from Shinjuku and took the JR Line to Kawagoe. As soon as I arrived there the atmosphere changed. It reminded me of the 20/30 years with the old warehouses and “western”  old buildings. 1 1

I went on to the Narita-san Betsu-in Temple where the antique market took place.

It was  an adventure  searching my way through everything as there were so many things , that you couldn’t even decide where to look first.

But if you have enough time you may find a little treasure. I myself bought also a wonderful kimono and an obi for  all in all 7000 Yen. But try it yourself !! Maybe you’ll find that little special what you’ve been searching for all over Tokyo! And the adventure is not even an hour away Tokyo!!

Try it out , and remember, that this market only takes place the 28. of every month , at the Narita-san Betsu-in Temple , -2 Kubo-machi Kawagoe-shi.

Apropos! The temple was also worth seeing !!!
