Narita Airport (Chiba) “Kodaman’s J-TRIP”

On the way to go to Cambodia and come back from Vietnam trip, I and my wife went to Narita Airport which is located in not Tokyo but Chiba. Everytime I go to Narita airport, I am surpised at the distance from the center of Tokyo to Narita Airport. Very far!! People arriving at Narita Airport must be surprised at the time to go to Tokyo Station too.

When you arrive to Narita aiport and go out a arrival gate, you can see this view(Here is the second terminal).

Arrivalgate

From Narita airport, you can go to somewhere in Tokyo by train, taxi , bus.

Example : Shinagawa-ku ,Meguro-ku, Shibuya-ku,Shinjyuku-ku /¥19000 Bunkyo-ku /¥17000

[Airport Limousine] These buses are already set stops. Some stops are in front of Hotels. most place in Tokyo ¥3000(1.5hours ~ 2hours) Please check this limousine bus’s website

bus busmap

[Train] There are two lines going toward to Tokyo, Narita Express and Keisei. Those use a same station. So don’t worry to find it out.

Narita express (from Narita airport to Tokyo) ¥2740 (1 hour)

Keisei line (from Narita airport to Ueno or Shinagawa) ¥ 1000(1.5hours)

Keisei Skyliner (earlier than normal train) ¥ 1920 (1 hour)

train

Anyway, this airport is far away from Tokyo. Besides, If you leave a Airport at 7:00 on weekday, it’ going to be rush hour.

Take it easy, drink a cup of coffee then leaveing at 8:00 must be fine.(it’s still rush hour but getting ok)
