Kansai International Airport new

Kansai Airport is on an artificial island about 5 km from Osaka Bay, built in 1994

as an international hub airport in Kansai or the western part of Japan.

Kansai Airport is about one hour from Osaka, Japan’s third largest city, by JR train Haruka or limousine bus.

It also has good access by train or bus to Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, and Awajishima Island.

For the further information about the train or bus service,

please check http://www.kansai-airport.or.jp/en/access/index.html.

It’s selected as the fourth best airport in the world.

The reason? Because of the clean toilets which are cleaned once an hour.

Look how clean the toilets are.

It’s the 4-story building. The international departure is on the fourth floor,

restaurants and shops on the 3rd floor, domestic departure and arrival on the second floor,

and arrival from international flights are on the first floor.

This is a Mikimoto Pearl shop. It has pearl pagodas.

Even window shopping is a lot of fan at the airport, making us feel like we are already out of Japan.
