Tokyo garden museum
Tokyo garden museum is place where you can feel somewhere different from Tokyo in the central of the city.It is located in Shirogane-dai that is famous for expensive area. The area is expanding 35,358.28㎡ in that location.
The museum has large building that built for house of loyal family called Asakanomiya in 1933.
After leaving Asakanomiya, it had used as gesthouse of Minister of foreign affairs, official residence of Primime Minister etc.
It was 24 years ago that the building had changed as a museum.
Unfortunatelly, I could not entre the building when I visited however, there are still stuffs that worth to see.
In the garden, there are some unique statues that seems mention anything for me.
The reason why I didn’t get any idea from them was that those design were come from foreign designers such as
Henri Rapin (1873-1939), Ivan-Leon Branchot(1868-1947) and Rene Lalique(1860-1945).
They are French designers who helped to design when the museum had built.
These are the statutes….
