Epson Aqua Stadium – Shinagawa
The Epson Aqua Stadium in WING Takanawa, near Shinagawa Station isn’t the largest aquarium in Tokyo-Ikebukuro’s Sunshine City aquarium probably takes that title.
EAS does however, have what it takes to lay claim to the title of best all round family entertainment spot in as far as such facilities go.
With a dolphin show unequalled in the Japanese capital, ideal for all ages and allowing spectators to view several spieces of these marine creatures up close EAS adds to its appeal with a walk through tunnel tank to view the fish and seals resident within as if from-within!
Admission is, admittedly a little pricey, but considering the access to themed pirate restaurants, a merry-go-round to die for and even a multiplex movie theatre, nothing too frightening.
For best access head to WING, walk through, up the slope and it is on your left.
Enjoy
