Thats was one of my thoughts the time I arrived in Japan .Back home everyone told me , that I have to try eel at least once. It is delicious, they said. Thats why , the other day we went to a very good eel restaurant called ” Oedo” . Alone the front of this local was beautiful!! Inside we ordered an eel set .. don’t ask me which one specifically. It looked very beautiful . The bowls were lacquered crafts and alone the set seemed already like a drawing. It consisted of a bowl of rice on which the eel was put, some pickled vegetables and a miso soup . I begann with the eel . Its consistence remembered me of fish (well , honestly, it IS fish )and the sauce was very tasty too. The rest was also very delicious and it was a feast eating it.My conclusion is ,that , although Unagi is not an “everydaymeal” and it is a little expensive ( Lunch menue 2400 Yen) it is worth a try. http://r.gnavi.co.jp/g144602/Adress:107-0062 Tokyo Minato-ku Aoyama 2-14-22Tel: 03-3402-0641Opening hours:Mon-Fri : 11:00～14:30　　　　　　 16:30～21:00Weekend: 11:00～21:00
