Chionin(Kyoto)“Kodaman’s J-TRIP”

Chionin(知恩院）is the head temple of “Jyodo shu” which is a cult of Buddhism. The gate of this temple is one of three greatest and biggest gates(Nanzen ji temple,Ninna ji temple and Chionin) in Kyoto. Literally,the name of Chionin is 知（Knowing)+恩（Obligation). 　There are many important cultural properties here but some places are prohibited to get in. [...]
