There is a old shirne, “Aoi-jinja Shrine” in near Jindaiji Temple.
Aoi-jinja Shrine enshrines Suijin.
The term Suijin (literally water kami or water deity) refers to the heavenly and earthly manifestations of the benevolent Shinto divinity of water.

Chōfu (調布) is a western suburb of Tokyo, and the main draws are Jindaiji Temple.  On the New Year’s day I did “Hatsumoude” to Jindaiji temple, a lovely little area in Chofu-shi. Hatsumoude means New Year’s visits to shrines or temples.

Located in Fuchu City in the western part of Tokyo, Ohkunitama Shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Tokyo.  I can relax and regain composure. I can recommend this power spot really.

Guinness World Record `Torii (Shinto Shrine Gate)’ is in New Year fashion @ Chijiwa, Nagasaki

This is the world largest Torii (Shinto Shrine Gate), in Chijiwa of Nagasaki prefecture, East end of Kyushu, where Onsen (hot spring ), food, and nature is all so wonderful !

Torii gate is decorated in New Year celebration style.
