Imagawa yaki made by Sugar, egg and flour is one of the famous sweets in Tokyo. The name of “Imagawa” yaki comes from Imagawa Brigde near Nihon bashi(bridge) in Tokyo. There are many shops serving Imagawa yaki in Tokyo.

For me, one of the best imagawayaki shops is “Tsukishima ya” in Azabu Jyuban. [...]

Piaf, is the name of this sweet cake.
It is made when the film `LA VIE EN ROSE Edith Piaf’ was released a couple of months ago.

Macaroons are heart shaped, too.

Sweet and sour.

This shop is only in Fukuoka, and is walking distance from Canal City Hakata, or Hakata station, the largest JR station in Kyushu [...]

This is a very delicious patisserie in the middle of Aoyama .

 It really carries the flair of a little cake shop in the middle of Old town Paris.

If you’re seeking a most sophisticated hotel in Hakata (Fukuoka), my recommendation would be With the Style, an artistic Californians style resort hotel near Hakata Station. You can stay or just visit for lunch to escape from the city’s heat wave.

Food is wonderful, with the Western look and Japanese taste.

Cool yourself with `Shirokuma’, white-bear-ice!

Shirokuma literally means white bear, but here it means a bowl of shaved ice with condensed milk syrop and freezed colourful fruits.

It is a speciality of Kagoshima, as I introduced in my previous article as the mecca of Shochu, distilled spirit.
