Rained out in Kumamoto[9/30]

Hello everyone. We are currently on our second night of WWOOF homestays in a row in Kyushu. Yesterday and today we rode through heavy rain but each night we have been greeted by warm beds and good food. We are a little worried about the Typhoon heading our way but hopefully we can make it to Kumamoto city tomorrow before the worst of it hits. We will be in Kumamoto until the 3rd then we head for Minamata before our last destination of Kagoshima."

In August of 2008 a group of like-minded residents of Japan will set off from the most northerly town in Japan to complete a 3500km, 2 month long journey to the most southern town in the country they call home.
