Beppu - onsen capital of Japan

Beppu is, unbeknownst to many the largest onsen town in the world.With more water pumping out here than at any other site servicing those passionate about bathing, Beppu is second only to Yellowstone in the USA in terms of quantity - and not many bathe there!
