Niijima, Tokyo, Japan

Officially Tokyo, Niijima is one of the largest islands in the Izu Seven Island Chain (there are actually more than seven but who's counting). Anyway, far more of a cultural spot than the larger Oshima to the north or the smaller, less populated islands around it, Niijima should be a must see on any ferry trip out to the area.
